Motorola EM30 Gets FCC OKPosted: 5.23.2008
Documents on the Motorola EM30 have surfaced on the FCC website. This bar shaped phone is similar to the ROKR E8. Little is known about the EM30 yet, but the FCC documents do reveal that it is a GSM/EDGE phone with stereo Bluetooth, a microSD memory card slot and a 3.5mm headset jack.
No carrier information or release date for the Motorola EM30 have been announced yet.

Blackberry has just taken the wraps off their latest smartphone, the 9000 Bold. This handset is tri-band HSDPA for international roaming and also features Wi-Fi and GPS. Powered by a 624 MHz processor, the Blackberry 9000 Bold features 1 GB of internal memory, a 2 megapixel camera, a media player, stereo Bluetooth, QWERTY keyboard and Blackberry's new operating system.
The Blackberry 9000 Bold will be available through AT&T, but no release date or pricing have been announced.

New Slider Glydes Into Verizon StoresPosted: 5.8.2008
Samsung has announced that the Glyde SCH-u940 will soon be available from Verizon Wireless. The Glyde is a slider style phone similar in features to the Samsung F700. It sports a large touch screen display and slides open to reveal a QWERTY keyboard. Other features include a 2 megapixel camera with auto-focus, EVDO data transfer, a full HTML browser, stereo Bluetooth and a microSD memory card slot.
No exact release date was specified for the Samsung Glyde. It will retail for $250 after rebate with a 2 year contract.

Documents regarding the Samsung SCH-i770 have appeared on the FCC website. The i770 is a GSM/CDMA hybrid handset featuring Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. Little else is known about this phone, but the naming convention suggests it is a PDA phone destined for Verizon Wireless.

Casio Boulder Appears on FCC SitePosted: 4.25.2008
A new rugged phone from Casio has shown up on the FCC website. The Casio Boulder is a flip phone that looks similar to the GZone. Little is revealed by the phone except for that it features CDMA, EVDO and Bluetooth radios.
The GZone is currently sold by Verizon, so it would seem reasonable that the Boulder would be headed there too, although there is no indication in the FCC documents.

Today Sony Ericsson announced a new flip phone, the Z780. This 3G phone is tri-band HSDPA and quad-band GSM. Key features on the Z780 include a 2 megapixel camera, MP3 player, FM radio, stereo Bluetooth, web browser, and GPS with Google Maps application.
No release date, price or carrier information is available yet for the Sony Ericsson Z780, however the phone is compatible with AT&T's 3G network.
