HTC Dream Approved by FCC

Posted: 8/18/2008

A new 3G handset from HTC has just gotten FCC approval. The HTC Dream is a slider phone featuring GSM and WCDMA radios. Details provided in the FCC documents were scarce, but we do know the Dream includes Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and a camera.

No carrier availability or release date have been announced for the HTC Dream, but the use of the WCDMA 1700 frequency would indicate that the device could be headed to T-Mobile.
