Helio Launches Samsung Drift and Location Service

Today Helio announced the launch of a new phone and service. The phone is the Samsung Drift, a slider style phone featuring a 2 megapixel camera, stereo Bluetooth, and a microSD slot. The Drift will also be capable of using some new location services offered by Helio. Customers will be able to get turn by turn directions through Google Maps. Another location feature being offered is the "Buddy Beacon" which allows users to find the location of their friends.
The Samsung Drift will cost $225 and is available starting today.
