Best Blackberry out there
Rating:

RIM has taken this very practical device, which is used on multiple networks by thousands of users, and finally put it on the best wireless voice and data network-Verizon Wireless.

Equipment and usage charges are comparable. Why not use the device that has the best coverage?

Highly Recommended

it sux that this item has no push technology
Rating:

the blackberry is an awesome device and it will be even better when Verizon can use it on the network. verizon needs to find a way or release it already so that personal email accounts can reach the blackberry and not just people who can afford setting up an eneterprise server! When it comes out no company will be able to compete with the device because it will be on the best network! THE VERIZON WIRELESS NATIONAL NETWORK! I have had every service and nothing beats Verizon Wireless! Give it a little time and the Blackberry will be awesome!!!

Verizon needs some more training for Sales Reps.
Rating:

Just got this the other day (I guess I'm the one of the few so far in the country).. Overall it functions just like the 957, my previous blackberry. There have been some updates to the software and things function a little differently. A cool feature about the 6750 is that the keyboard lights up now. So when the backlight is turned on the keys light up to.. That was one of my complaints about the 957.

The cellphone part will take a little getting used to. If you have a Lotus Notes address book it used your contact information in there for phone numbers. I've been told I can go to a Verizon store and get my numbers transferred from my old LG cellphone into this but I think it might create a slew of new address book entries. So I plan on doing this myself.

Now onto my biggest complaint.. Wireless web. When I was inquiring about the 6750 I was told that I could browse the web on it just like I did on my LG cellphone. Well that sales rep was wrong.. After setting up the email and phone side of it, I couldn't get the Browser to work. I called Verizon Tech support today and they said they don't support the wireless web.. I either have to get some 3rd party provider or have my company sset it up on the Enterprise server.. I don't know if that's going to happen.

Other than that, phone reception and clarity is good. It's relatively easy to use once you get used to the changes and the phone functionality.. But like I mentioned, the Wireless web part is the drawback.

Was ok awhile back
Rating:

I am a big PDA person currently owning a Treo at this point.

Well, the 6750 was maginifficient as a smartphone got back in 2002-2003. The phone was a good phone for texting, but it was green screened so it wasn't good for picture quality on web.

The phone was pretty big. Probably as big as a Kindle I estimate, I've never touched a Kindle or seen one in person but it really has a Kindle form factor.

Pros: For how big of a phone (long it is) it is actually kind of slim. It was slimmer then my 7250 I owned, but then again it was easily noticed if i could EVEN fit it in my small pockets lol

The sound quality was amazing

Cons:
The phone had a monochromatic screen as well as polyphonic ringtones. The 7250 had polyphonic tones but then again had a color screen and could view pictures easily. So i loved this phone when i had it, then again i wouldnt get it today. theres better out
